*SHB & EP stands for "Strictly Hard Bean" and "European Preparation". SHB means that the coffee was grown at an altitude of at least 1,200 meters above sea level. The higher altitude and lower temperatures cause the coffee fruit to mature more slowly, resulting in a denser bean. EP means that the green coffee was sorted by hand to remove any defective beans and foreign material. The maximum number of defects allowed per 300g is 8.
